Types Of Cases

Before & After

Class I - Crowded Teeth

Normal bite (Class I) but severe crowding with a lack of space for the canine or eye teeth to fit in. The upper midline has drifted to the patient's right side and they have a deep bite (front teeth overlap too far). Narrow jaws contributed to the crowding so the arches were expanded and the teeth aligned while correcting the midline.

Class II - Protruding Top Teeth

Retrusive lower jaw and teeth make the top teeth appear to protrude. In the past, this was always treated by extracting teeth but this case was treated by enhancing lower jaw growth and tooth position while holding back the top jaw and teeth in conjunction with braces.

Class III - Protruding Lower Teeth

This young girl had protrusive lower teeth and was also missing both upper lateral incisor teeth. We brought her top teeth in front of the lower teeth while reshaping her canine teeth to look like her lateral incisor teeth should. Looks better and also protects her teeth as they are less prone to excessive wear when biting properly.

Class I - Spaced Teeth

Normal jaw position but with spaced teeth which are unaesthetic and this patient did not feel confident when smiling. Closing the spaces and the use of fixed or bonded retainers behind the teeth to hold the spaces closed permanently has given her something to smile about.
